About the Position: This position is focused on developing a positive learning and training experience for educators consistent with Empire’s Core Purpose and Core Values in order to provide a quality education on a consistent and compliant basis in order to meet the needs of the beauty industry. The Regional Director of Education (RDE) leads educational initiatives for an assigned region(s) by evaluating and analyzing the educational performance of the region, the performance of its multiple schools, and addressing deficiencies through training, development, and leadership initiatives. The RDE works with educational staff, Executive Directors, and the Regional Vice President of Operations to ensure clear understanding of educational processes, student advising, classroom management, attendance, retention, and other metrics, works closely with the Educational Services team to ensure implementation and execution of new initiatives and programs, and communicates regularly with the Educational Services Management team regarding school and regional performance. This is a salaried position which may include day, evening, and weekend hours, plus travel between schools in the assigned region. The salary range for this position is $ 68, - 80, per year. Our ideal candidate possesses a combination of work experience, education, and professional characteristics as outlined below: Bachelor’s Degree required, Master's degree preferred Multi-site experience preferred 7+ years of teaching, education management, operations, or business management experience Cosmetology license/teacher's license preferred Combination of college and experience. Salon management experience a plus Ability to multi-task and excel in a high-growth, fast-paced environment Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from students, guests, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community Computer knowledge and experience with multiple systems, including Microsoft programs Proprietary education experience is required Benefits include: 401K, medical, dental, vision, and more!
