ABOUT THE ROLE
The Regional Design Director oversees and leads creative excellence within a specific geographic area, managing 150-300 staff across multiple offices, each with their own design leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Transforming design excellence:
Ensure regional design quality, facilitate reviews, promote recognition and awards, and represent Living-Centered Design ethos externally through speaking engagements and media. Lead clients with innovative, culturally responsive design solutions.
Transforming the design team:
Foster a collaborative, innovative community of designers, mentor future leaders, and embody the firm’s culture and ethos.
Transforming the organization:
Act as the regional voice for firm-wide innovation and impact, participate in strategic growth planning, and align regional goals with overall firm objectives.
Qualifications:
20+ years in design leadership, portfolio of significant work, recognized awards, strong communication, leadership skills, business acumen, and innovative thinking. Bachelor’s or master’s in architecture preferred; US registration and LEED are a plus. Travel required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary range: $204,240 - $255,300 annually, with potential bonuses, full benefits, flexible schedules, remote work options, and a 401k plan. For more details, visit our
