About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional Chair for the Department of Internal Medicine in the Eastern Division. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, education, and research within the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the department, including the development and support of faculty, staff, and learners. Strong relationships with hospital leadership, other clinical departments, and key community stakeholders are essential. The role also involves a key focus on programmatic growth, particularly in expanding the ambulatory footprint and initiating new clinical service lines.

The ideal candidate for the Regional Chair position will be a collaborative leader and an accomplished clinician with a background in an academic medical center or large healthcare system. Operational and strategic expertise in areas such as GME support, program development, clinical quality, and financial management is required. The candidate must be ABIM certified and eligible for West Virginia medical licensure. The role demands a leader with a strong commitment to excellence and the ability to drive the department's mission forward in a rapidly growing and evolving healthcare environment.
