The Kustom US Inc. Phoenix location is seeking a Reconstruction Project Director. The Reconstruction Project Director is tasked with leading reconstruction projects from inception to successful completion, in line with Kustom's Operational Excellence Team's standards. The role includes comprehensive oversight of project budgeting, scheduling, and execution, supported by a Project Accountant, Project Managers, internal trades, and in collaboration with estimators and subcontractors.

Location: Office is now located in Gilbert, AZ 85233

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 + Commissions

Role Responsibilities:

• Initial Assessment & Communication:
  • Receive and review job assignments, determining project requirements.
  • Schedule initial job walks with stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
  • Identify needs for supplements during initial assessments.

• Planning & Execution:
  • Perform material takeoffs, initiate engineering/drafting tasks, and secure permits.
  • Develop and manage project schedules.
  • Provide regular updates to customers on progress.
  • Identify subcontractors and create agreements.
  • Monitor progress and upload updates in real-time.
  • Execute change orders and supplements, documenting all modifications.

• Financial Management:
  • Create and manage budgets in DASH.
  • Track job costs, ensuring alignment with budget and profit goals.
  • Manage collection of all financial transactions.
  • Approve or reject subcontractor invoices.

• Quality Assurance & Completion:
  • Conduct site visits for quality control.
  • Create and finalize the punch list.
  • Obtain Certificate of Satisfaction from clients.
  • Audit completed jobs and finalize billing.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction and/or restoration preferred
• Experience reconstructing complex properties after water/fire/structural damage.
• Strong understanding of the insurance related reconstruction projects.
• Proficient in project management software (Procore, Builder trend, Next Gear, PSA, Sales Force, Microsoft Project, or similar)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to interpret project-related documents like scopes of work and blueprints.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver's license in alignment with company policies.
