With a long history of expertise in glass technology, it designs and manufactures high-density fiber optic solutions and optical components.
Job Description
The Key responsibilities for the Quality Director are: Develop and implement quality systems: Create and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), including standards, procedures, and protocols for optical components and systems. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations. Oversee quality assurance programs: Analyze test results to find deviations from quality standards, then work with engineers to fix any product or service quality issues. Analyze data and report: Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes of defects. Use this information to create reports for management and drive continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate across teams: Partner with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to uphold quality throughout the product lifecycle. You'll also train and guide team members on quality best practices. Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve quality processes and implement preventative and corrective actions to address issues before they recur. The Successful Applicant
The Sucessful Quality Director will: Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS): Enforce policies and procedures and conduct audits to ensure product, company, and system compliance. Technical expertise: Possess a strong understanding of optical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Adaptable and results-oriented: Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines. Strong analytical and negotiation skills: Synthesize and interpret data while also handling contract negotiations and understanding legal terms. 10+ Years of Quality Experience as it relates to manufacturing Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent experience Ability to travel 30% of the time What's on Offer
