*Trucking Safety Director*

* Responsible for Safety Program for approximately 150 trucks. * Additional responsibilities include OSHA, workers compensation, and facility environmental compliance. * Monitor daily safety operations of truck drivers and address issues. * Conduct Safety presentations and safety training sessions. * Perform Safety orientations with new hires. * Conduct accident investigations, and travel to accident sites as needed.

Keep office hours at administrative office in Weyers Cave Va. Will need to frequently travel to other locations in Baltimore MD, Charleston WV, and multiple locations throughout Virginia.

*Qualifications*

* Minimum of 5 years experience in trucking, preferably in Safety or Operations management. * Experience with FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance. * Familiar with OSHA and working with other governmental agencies. * Preference for applicants with NATMI Certified Director of Safety credentials.

This is a fast paced position and requires the ability to multi-task and yet focus on critical aspects of risk management. Your day will be busy with routine tasks, yet any urgent safety concerns will demand immediate attention.
