Description of Work The Psychological Program Director II is responsible for the provision of psychological services at Cherry Hospital, including maintaining personnel records, budget input, and recruitment. The Director provides leadership and oversight of psychological services, supervising a staff of psychologists and support staff. Responsibilities include clinical assessments, forensic evaluations, court testimony, staff training, and supervision of interns. The role involves planning, research, implementation, and evaluation of the psychology program. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. About Cherry Hospital Cherry Hospital is a state-of-the-art psychiatric hospital located in Goldsboro, NC, serving the eastern 38 counties of North Carolina. The hospital aims to provide excellent psychiatric care in a healing environment. Qualifications Thorough knowledge of behavior dynamics, psychological assessment, supportive and interpretive therapy, behavior modification, and forensic psychology. Experience in forensic psychology, working with the NC Court System, and in inpatient psychiatric settings preferred. Eligibility for licensure in North Carolina and at least three years of post-doctoral psychological experience, including supervision and clinical treatment.
