Montefiore Comprehensive Health Care Center (MCHCC), situated in the heart of Bronx, NY, is seeking a qualified Psychiatrist/Mental Health Director to lead and expand our mental health services. This role is pivotal for enhancing our multidisciplinary healthcare offerings, which encompass primary care, pediatrics, and specialized treatments. The successful candidate will drive initiatives to improve mental health outcomes, spearhead clinical programs, and ensure the integration of psychiatric services across our facility. Develop and implement comprehensive mental health programs. Manage a team of mental health professionals and administrative staff. Collaborate with other medical departments to integrate mental health services with other healthcare offerings. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations concerning mental health care. Provide psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, and ongoing treatment. Oversee training and development of departmental staff. Conduct research and apply findings to clinical practices and program design. Handle budgeting, resources allocation and departmental planning.
