The Director will play a pivotal role in shaping culture, driving process improvement, and ensuring seamless collaboration across the organization. Success in this position requires not only operational excellence but also the ability to inspire, unify, and elevate teams while keeping projects on track for financial and strategic success.
Key Responsibilities Ensure the effectiveness of the Project Management team by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and providing regular feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Model strong leadership behaviors by fostering accountability, transparency, and collaboration across the department, setting the tone for how Project Managers engage with both clients and internal partners. Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the department and across functions. Ensure projects are executed to meet or exceed expectations around budget, scope, quality, and schedule. Take direct ownership of profitability and overall performance. Partner with peers across the organization to streamline workflows, resolve challenges, and eliminate silos. Establish and refine project management best practices, reporting tools, and performance metrics. Serve as a senior leader, contributing to company-wide strategy and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications Proven leadership experience managing teams of Project Managers in client-service project environment. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in driving project profitability. Ability to interpret technical documentation and project requirements. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to unify teams and influence at all levels. Track record of improving processes, systems, and interdepartmental collaboration. Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on problem solving.
