The Project Management Director will lead project operations that support Sales and Sales Support in driving growth and ensuring excellence in customer satisfaction. This role oversees the full lifecycle of complex projects, aligning processes with company goals and fostering collaboration across departments to deliver high-quality, cost-effective energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Project Management team, driving performance, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop scalable project management strategies, systems, and workflows to support technical, customer-facing energy projects.
- Maintain executive visibility into project pipelines, timelines, and risks using CRM and reporting tools.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to qualify opportunities, allocate resources, and ensure accurate CRM updates.
- Drive accountability in customer follow-up, quoting, proposals, and post-sale execution.
- Oversee financial reviews, credit checks, and alignment with sales agreements.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Engineers to triage and route inbound leads.
- Act as the escalation point for high-impact client/vendor concerns.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships and delivery schedules.
- Ensure accuracy in project documentation, contracts, invoicing, and close-out procedures.
- Lead post-mortems to identify improvements and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years in project management, including 5+ in leadership.
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional project portfolios.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Great Plains, Salesforce, Rehlko).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused leader.
