Job Description

• Leads by example through servant leadership values
• Promotes the company mission, vision, values, and brand
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with funders, staff, partners and employers
• Sets strategy for successful operations taking into consideration funder, local area and organizational needs
• Fosters a positive, inclusive and accountable culture
• Establishes a motivational, collaborative, and innovative work environment that fosters excellent customer experience and results
• Provides leadership, financial management oversight, manages staff, and monitors performance management.
• Provide ongoing training and communication to ensure staff are always up to date on new processes and changes.
• Ensures compliance to meet or exceed expectations.
• Maintains relationships with the City of Chicago and partners.
• Responsible for meeting the goals and objectives outlined in the contract.
• Ensures all laws, rules and regulations are followed as outlined by the contract.
• Engages partner organizations to assist guests with needed services both onsite and offsite.
• Manages relationships with hotel(s), food, security and other vendors as appropriate.
• Ensures a positive guest experience.
• Performs quality assurance monitoring.
• Fosters a positive culture.
• Ensures proper practices regarding record keeping, control systems, and reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
• Five (5) years’ professional experience organizing/developing programs at a management level with two (2) years of senior management
• Effective planning, training and supervisory abilities
• Ability to effectively delegate, monitor, and evaluate complex programs
• Possess excellent human resource and management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in working in a culturally diverse community setting
• Bilingual preferred
• Intermediate level MS Office Skills
• Proof of valid driver's license and liability insurance may be required
