Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage gigawatt-scale power generation projects , including simple and combined cycle plants. Oversee the full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) lifecycle , ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. Direct multidisciplinary teams of project managers, engineers, and construction managers. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (35-50 team members) and external vendors (30-40 partners). Serve as the primary communicator with executives, internal teams, and external vendors, inspiring teams through project challenges. Adapt to changes in project scope, design, or execution while maintaining critical path and performance goals. Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 7 years in engineering, project management, project controls, commercial development, or operations within the oil & gas or power generation industry . Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Track Record: Proven success managing large, complex projects (over 1 GW for East; combined cycle and gigawatt-scale projects for West). Strong leadership skills with experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, collaboration, and motivational abilities. Solid technical and project controls background; strong industry network preferred. Preferred Skills & Certifications PMP certification preferred; PE licensure is a plus. Proficiency with project management tools such as Oracle Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Power BI . Strong competencies in technical engineering or project controls with the ability to leverage expertise across disciplines. Benefits & Perks 401(k): Up to 6% match plus an additional fixed 4.5% contribution annually. Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting day one with HSA and FSA options. Paid Time Off (PTO): Starts at 120 hours (3 weeks) and can increase to 200 hours (5 weeks) depending on experience, plus 9 federal holidays and 2 floating holidays. Unused PTO rollover up to 80 hours per year, with the option to go negative by 40 hours. Annual Incentive Program (AIP): Eligible for up to 22.5% annual bonus based on performance. Stock Equity Program: Eligible for up to 15% equity (3-year vesting), plus discounted employee stock options twice per year at a 15% discount. Relocation packages are available for qualified candidates.
