Industry Biotechnology Type Privately Held About the Role We are looking for a driven Executive Director of Program Management to be a vital part of our team, overseeing the execution of programs from pre-IND planning all the way through NDA approvals. This role will place you at the forefront of managing highly technical and cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful rollout of clinical development initiatives. You will be responsible for managing program scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, risks, and communications. Your expertise in developing program management strategies will turn our goals into actionable project tasks, while continuously supporting teams in tracking and monitoring project progress. We seek an individual with a deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle, exceptional program management skills, and proven experience in clinical-stage drug development roles. Candidates should hold a BS/BA degree in a relevant life science or similar field; advanced degrees or PMP certification are highly desired. You should have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a demonstrable history of managing cross-functional teams successfully. The ability to lead with integrity and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential. We require proficiency in program management methodologies, project management software, and Microsoft Office. You should excel in problem-solving, influencing decision-making, and navigating challenges with creativity, even amidst uncertainty.
