Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic leader to manage the Dental Assisting Program. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The Program Director is responsible for managing the department using sound business principles and ensuring compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and company policies and procedures. Some evening and Saturday hours are required. The Program Director teaches in their assigned discipline, works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of instruction quality, is the lead administrator for the department, and is responsible for faculty training and development, as well as coordinating academic programs, student outcomes, and departmental activities. Documented expertise in the academic subject area, demonstrated by data sheets, diplomas, transcripts, certifications, and/or resumes. Strong interpersonal, oral presentation, and written communication skills. Ability to provide effective leadership and work collaboratively with others. Minimum of 4 years of industry experience. Prior postsecondary teaching experience of at least 2 years preferred. Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in the discipline as required by accrediting and licensing standards. Appropriate licenses and certifications depending on discipline, as per accreditation and state licensing standards.
