Salary: Position Purpose A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. This position is full-time and is responsible for overall management and strategic development of the program to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the projects. Reporting Relationships Reports to Global Recovery Manager Roles reporting to position Project Manager Dotted line manager Volunteer Relations Coordinator Approximate number of reports 2 Essential Functions Responsible for the successful operation and completion of the program as a whole Effectively onboard and manage a diverse staff team to meet the needs of the affected community and empower them to carry out their functions effectively and efficiently Support the operations and project teams to deliver their specific operational and project targets within the approved time and budget constraints Ensure All Hands and Hearts and program rules are adhered to and carry out disciplinary procedures if needed Develop, implement, and regularly review program emergency procedures and safety and security protocols Manage the operating budget for the program Oversee the delivery of weekly and monthly reporting for all aspects of the program Ensure all program tracking systems are updated regularly and maintained Collaborate with local partners to foster cooperation Ensure compliance with legal requirements for the program Maintain overall budget and timeline compliance of the program Develop an overall budget for the program, including financial forecasting Reconcile operational and project budgets to meet approved overall program budgets Engage the community by building and maintaining relationships between the community, staff, and volunteers. Involve the community in decisions and provide culturally sensitive support as needed Manage communication with neighboring communities to ensure cohesion Perform other duties as required Position Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Related Experience: 1+ years working in a disaster relief organization, preferably with All Hands and Hearts; experience in project management, including budget tracking and reporting; managing volunteer-powered programs Special Competencies/Certifications: Valid driver’s license required. Good written and oral communication skills; proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office. Well-organized with a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and priorities. Strong leadership and delegation skills, capable of managing a large workload in a fast-paced environment.
