The Program Director is responsible for oversight of all aspects of their assigned Seneca program to ensure the provision of high-quality, accessible, and responsive services for clients. The Program Director designs systems and strategies to achieve the program's identified goals, oversees day-to-day operations, provides ongoing supervision and leadership to the program team, and manages the program budget. The Program Director engages effectively with clients, families, community and funding partners, and other programs in the Seneca continuum of care.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMS
The Mobile Response Team (MRT) is a 24/7 youth mobile crisis response program which supports youth and their families in crisis when there are concerns for immediate safety. The MRT service is intended to offer families, schools, and providers an alternative to calling 911 when law enforcement may not be necessary for the level of presenting concerns. The goal is to provide early intervention before crises escalate, to divert youth from more restrictive interventions, and reduce criminalization of mental health for youth.
The Short-Term Assessment of Resources and Treatment (START) Program provides stabilization services following a crisis involving a youth within the Pierce County community. The primary goals of the START Program are suicide prevention and safety planning, ongoing crisis management and development of coping skills for youth and their families along with collaboration with other treatment team providers serving the youth. The goal is to provide crisis stabilization and linkage to long-term services while providing same day crisis services in the home or community.

Responsibilities:

Work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to oversee the overall quality and operations of the program.
Direct the delivery of high-quality client care grounded in Seneca's values, guided by the principles of Unconditional Care, and in adherence to relevant governing standards.
Perform personnel functions for all staff, including overseeing hiring, professional development, supervision, evaluation, and termination.
Provide direct supervision of program leadership team and other staff, as assigned.
Provide leadership to the program staff team, cultivating a program culture that supports safety, engagement, collaboration, and ongoing learning.
Cultivate effective partnerships with applicable county offices, school districts, law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and other community providers, and facilitate effective training for partners as requested,
Manage applicable program facilities to ensure safety and a warm and welcoming environment of care.
Plan and maintain the program budget and take action to ensure financial sustainability.
Engage in data-based program assessment activities to evaluate effectiveness and guide improvement.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in education, social work, psychology, and/or counseling preferred.

Bachelor's degree plus comparable experience may be considered in lieu of master's degree.

Must have at least three years of administrative or supervisory experience in a social work, direct care, or youth community crisis facility setting.
Support for overnight on-call shifts for our 24/7 mobile response team, administrative on call duties.
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure with the applicable regulatory agency responsible for licensing, examination, and enforcement of competent mental health practice or education standards preferred.
Prior demonstrated record of providing effective supervision and leadership of diverse program teams.
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy.

Schedule

Full-time:

Monday-Friday.
9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Fully onsite.

Starting at $111, 486- $125,486 per year

Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam.
