Many of these opportunities are made possible through partnerships with schools and state-funded expanded learning programs such as ELO-P and ASES.

We are seeking an Program Director, Youth Development, to help lead and oversee the YMCA's expanded learning programs in the Inglewood community. In this role, you will provide direct oversight of 4-8 ELO-P/ASES braided-funded after school programs, located on school campuses, serving students TK-8th grade.

The Program Director, Youth Development, serves as a leader in the areas of School-Age expanded learning. The Program Director, Youth Development, is responsible for the supervision, management, development and operation of a regional area of after school programs and program sites, funded by ELO-P/ASES (braided). The Program Director, Youth Development, provides direct oversight and supervision of site coordinators and program staff. Responsibilities include member support and engagement, program growth and retention, fiscal and grant management, volunteer and staff development, program marketing and communication, district and school relations and engagement. Duties include the recruitment, training and supervision of staff, development of programs and activities, community involvement, school partnerships and program marketing. This position will also be responsible for maintaining YMCA risk and safety standards and maintaining compliance with all grant requirements. The Program Director, Youth Development is a member of the YMCA's centralized Youth Development Department Operations team.
