The Program Director oversees the delivery of programs and services for the Club's school program and summer camp, assisting with planning, development, and implementation.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
DutiesPrepares Youth for Success Plans and oversees programs supporting Youth Development Outcomes.
Establishes program objectives aligned with organizational goals and mission.
Oversees daily program activities ensuring standards and goals are met.
Ensures compliance with NH Childcare Licensing Bureau requirements.
Encourages member participation and skill development in various activities.
Demonstrates leadership to ensure proper conduct, safety, and development of members.
Program Development and Implementation Maintains program goals ensuring health and safety of members.
Ensures program areas are safe, well-maintained, and standards are understood by staff.
Evaluates programs regularly, tracks outcomes, and responds to member needs.
Manages program expenditures within budget.
Supervision Allocates work, provides feedback, and supports staff and volunteers.
Maintains records, reports activities, participation, achievements, and issues.
Ensures effective performance of staff and volunteers.
Oversees special events and increases program visibility via social media and communications.
Requirements Applicants must be at least 20 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet one of the following:
Qualified and employed as a site director before 2022;
Associate’s degree in a relevant field;
Certification as a recreation director plus 1000 hours working with children;
12 credits in a relevant field plus 1000 hours working with children;
Current educator certification;
2000 hours working with children plus specific certifications or coursework.
Additional requirements include background checks and a zero-tolerance policy for abuse.
