Offering a $5,000 Sign On Bonus! GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position will direct all Addiction Residential Services in the Adult & Family Services Division.. The candidate will also provide program management oversight of the Keenan House North program, oversee services across a continuum of care and assist in administrative oversight of addiction residential services provided across Brien Center licensed recovery home sites countywide. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and ensuring program licensing and regulatory compliance, coordination of treatment reviews and charting accuracy, conducting of performance evaluations for assigned staff, and monitoring of treatment outcomes and the efficient delivery of services.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Oversight of residential recovery homes across Berkshire County; program management of Keenan House North, coordination and linkage of addiction services with outpatient services
Development and implementation of program concepts and services
Supervision of all levels of supervisory staff including recommendations of staffing changes to the Assistant Division Director of Recovery Services.
Understand and instruct staff on DPH/BSAS regulations, policies, charting and documentation requirements, treatment planning, and treatment expectations
Monitor and assist staff in meeting treatment outcome targets, and systematically review caseloads.
Responsible for conducting multidisciplinary case conferences, peer reviews, and auditing of client charts.
Assist the Assistant Division Director of Recovery Services in writing program applications and corrective action plans.
Respond to community requests for information and referral sources, and participate in community outreach efforts.
Attend weekly Recovery Home staff meetings
Attend monthly meeting of Western MA Providers Association at DPH in Northampton. Attend other DPH functions when required
DIRECT SERVICE
Provide management oversight at other sites as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s/Ph.D. Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
Independently licensed LICSW, LMHC, or Ph.D. preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory and clinical experience in community mental health or addiction services preferred.
Experienced in clinical and management supervision as a teaching tool.
Demonstrated experience in areas of management skills, i.e. program development, program evaluation, human resource management, and basic fiscal operations
SKILLS
Excellent oral and written expression skills.
Leadership talent and the ability to delegate effectively.
Working knowledge of computers.
Knowledge of community resources.
