PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs within a designated Clubhouse, such as Education, Special Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education. Plan, develop, oversee implementation, and supervise programs and program staff. KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities): Prepare Youth for Success Plan and oversee the administration of designated Clubhouse programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes. Establish Clubhouse program objectives consistent with organizational goals and mission. Oversee the provision of day-to-day program activities in accordance with established standards and goals. Encourage members to participate in various activities and provide instruction and feedback to develop skills. Mentor youth as part of the Boys & Girls Clubs Youth Development Strategy. Demonstrate leadership to ensure conduct, safety, and development of members. Program Development and Implementation Establish and maintain program goals and a safe, healthy environment. Ensure programs respond to member needs and cultural considerations. Manage program expenditures within budget. Assign and monitor work of volunteers and staff, providing feedback and development opportunities. Oversee record keeping and reporting of activities and participation. Ensure staff and volunteers perform effectively. Marketing and Public Relations Increase visibility of programs through schedules, announcements, and approved media releases. Additional Responsibilities: Oversee special programs or events as needed. Consult with parents regarding members and branch issues. Handle funds as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director. Relationships: Internal: Daily contact with staff, members, and supervisor. External: Contact with community groups, schools, parents, and others. Skills/Knowledge Required: High School Diploma with relevant experience. Knowledge of Boys & Girls Clubs mission, policies, and procedures. Leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision. CPR and First Aid certification within six months. Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Lift up to 20 lbs. Outdoor weather exposure. Stand for extended periods. Exposure to loud noises.
