Job Description The Program Director of STEP is responsible for administering the delivery of English language continuing education theology courses through the McGrath Institute’s STEP Program as well as developing and maintaining formal partnership relationships with diocesan and other institutional partners. Duties include:
Management of the operational activities for STEP including course operations, outreach, marketing planning, and user support
The initiation, cultivation, and management of partnerships with dioceses and other institutions, including activities needed to support diaconate formation programs with respect to curriculum planning, evaluation, and reporting
Management of administrative details including, but not limited to, ongoing management of content licensing, planning and scheduling, and reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Close collaboration with the Director of Online Learning and Program Director of Camino regarding curricular planning and external relationship management
Collaboration in the development of new courses in response to curriculum development plans and audience needs
Provide formation and support for STEP course facilitators
Qualifications Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in theology
7 or more years of experience with theological formation, online learning, or related disciplines
Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with the Diocese and other affiliated institutions
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and engage effectively with diverse organizations and individual course participants
Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desired

Salary: $72,000 - $87,000 based on experience
