Program Controls Director

Manage a team responsible for effective Project Controls Management to achieve business results for Honeywell. You will ensure the Project Controls Management processes are implemented appropriately and support Honeywell business and Project Controls Management leaders to ensure data integrity by enforcing compliance to management operating system and processes.
The Program Controls Director will be functionally responsible for overall management of all Project Planning & Controls Organization (PP&C) employees globally, including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, allocation, administration, performance reviews and professional development.
Responsible for the Project Controls philosophy within the COE (Center of Excellence), deploying Project Controls policies and procedures and providing leadership to the COE project controls employees.??Work with the Line of Business (LOB) Operational Leads and Project Controls Managers to implement organizational work processes, data structures and technology required for supporting Operations and Project Controls efforts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise the PCO team activities of the projects managed to ensure a good financial and operational control of the projects portfolio (Global)
Implement and monitor compliance with the relevant SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) Controls, as applicable for Program Management functions
Develop and implement the Project Controls employee development plans and skills development to support the Allocated Area (Global)
You Must Have:
10+ years' experience in Project Controls, Leadership and Managerial skills.

Master's or bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting
Experience in financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management
Knowledge of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Planning (STRAP) process
Demonstrate Leadership, Communication, Negotiation and Organizational skills
Extensive influence and motivation at varying levels across the organization. Problem Solving and Decision Making.
Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
User experience of ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsiga)
Proficient Microsoft Office package skills e.g., Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
Expert level experience in financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management
Project Management, Project Schedule Professional (PMI-SP), or Cost Engineering Certification
Six Sigma Green Belt
Bi/Multi-lingual
Cross Functional Leadership and Presentation Skills
Strong Experience with Cost Control, Scheduling (Waterfall/Agile/Lean/Scrum), Time Management, and Contract Management
SBU Specific:
Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
