This full-time, exempt role is ideal for a licensed psychologist with experience in forensic mental health settings and strong clinical leadership skills. The Program Director provides direct administrative, clinical, and fiscal oversight of the forensic outpatient program. Benefits Package for a Program Director: Student loan forgiveness qualifying employer Flexible 9/80 work schedule option Medical and dental insurance Employer-matched retirement plan Paid vacation, sick leave, and personal holidays Cell phone reimbursement Bilingual pay where applicable Ongoing training in forensic psychology and risk assessment Certification reimbursement and on-call pay Employee appreciation events Qualifications of a Program Director: Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited institution Licensed Psychologist with the California Board of Psychology Experience treating individuals with serious mental illness in forensic settings Strong leadership skills with experience supervising clinical teams Knowledge of risk assessment, structured professional judgment (SPJ), and CONREP system Ability to provide written and verbal testimony in legal settings Valid CA Drivers License and clean driving record CPR, First Aid, CPI, MOAB, and Fire/Safety Training (or ability to obtain within 180 days) Duties/Responsibilities of a Program Director: Oversee all clinical, operational, and fiscal aspects of the FCTP program Facilitate treatment team meetings and guide supervision and case planning Ensure program goals and quality standards are met in accordance with DSH and Penal Code Direct clinical decision-making and intervene in high-risk or emergency situations Collaborate with CONREP leadership, community stakeholders, law enforcement, and courts Maintain compliance with documentation, billing, and reporting standards Provide clinical supervision and support to licensed and unlicensed staff Deliver expert-level testimony and court reporting Stay current with trends in forensic psychology and integrate best practices
