Terabase Energy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Director to lead the development and growth of Terafab, our flagship robotic platform for solar power plant installation. This role requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about renewable energy, robotics, and product innovation. The Role We are looking for a Product Director to own the product roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support the scale-up of Terafab, and ensure it exceeds market expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management, engineering, or project management, with a strong background in robotics, automation, or autonomous machinery. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a clear product vision and strategy for Terafab. Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals. Identify and evaluate emerging trends in renewable energy and robotics to guide product innovation. Collaborate with OEMs and other technology partners to integrate solutions and drive innovation. Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Gather and synthesize input from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions. Act as the primary advocate for Terafab within the organization and with external stakeholders. Oversee the development lifecycle of Terafab, from concept to deployment. Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and ensure feasibility. Conduct regular reviews to monitor progress and address any challenges. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, robotics, industrial engineering, or related field). 7+ years of total professional experience in product management, engineering, or project management, with at least 4 years in product management for hardware+software solutions. 3+ years in robotics, automation, or autonomous machinery, ideally in construction, agriculture, or manufacturing. Direct exposure to large-scale solar power plant construction (utility-scale EPC, developer, or technology supplier), including knowledge of racking, module installation, site preparation, and commissioning. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance for heavy machinery and autonomous systems (OSHA, ISO, CE Marking). Preferred Qualifications Master's degree.
