Practice Management Director, Orthopedics

THE DIRECTOR, assists in the planning, organizing and providing Practice Management services to the Medical Center's assigned Specialty Physician Practices, subsidiaries and other related interests. Provides practice supervision activities of clinical and non-clinical staff; oversees operations of assigned specialty practices across all regions within the Physician Network. Acts as a liaison for the practice staff with operational oversight to the department. Supervises the various clinic staff positions in assigned specialty practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field required
At least 5 years experience in a physician office or related required
Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role required
Knowledge of physician office procedures required
Must have a wide range of billing, charging and reimbursement guidelines
Healthcare Provider Certification at hire
MGMA membership and certification preferred
Coding certification preferred
