Job Summary:The POA Landscape Director function is to provide direction, supervision and inspection of landscape maintenance for common and lirnited common areas as well as formulate and supe1vision of landscape projects, liniited common area projects and enhancements.

Essential Job Functions:Job duties include, although are not limited to:
- Defines overall landscape plan to be iniplemented on limited common areas, road shoulders, and other common property
- Oversees all landscape maintenance contractors for POA, NOAs, and public areas excluding golf courses
- Establishes budgets for all NOA and POA areas
- Develops and maintains a master program for all irrigation systems
- Authorizes payment for services and goods provided witl1in budget guidelines
- Provides a list of all areas requiring annual, senii-annual, and/or periodic color
- Identifies in1proved controls over erosion and landscape drainage; directs iniplementation of these controls
- Attends POA Committee meetings
- Works closely with otl1er departments on additional landscaping needs, providing plans and installation when needed.
- Investigates property owner concerns as requested and implements solutions when possible
- Coordinates regular physical inspection of all NOAs for contract compliance; assigns inspection duties to members of POA Maintenance staff
- l'vfaintains database of all NOA inspections and projects
- Oversee all right-of-way turf, shrubs, and plant maintenance
- Assists with organizing and coordinating NOA projects
- Inspect NOA properties to recognize normal needs and liability issues
- Develops and maintains a master program for pond maintenance
- Ensures follow-through with solutions to issues discovered during property inspections
- Assists with annual budget preparation to include researching and gathering appropriate data for landscaping enhancements, ongoing expenses, and proposed projects
- Supervise contractors for larger scale projects.
- BS degree in Horticulture, Turf Management or related field
- Familiar with chemical applications completed by contractors
- Strong budgeting skills
- Ability to supervise contractors on larger projects
- Must be able to complete projects from start to finish
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow through
- Excellent public interactive skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently is required to walk and sit and occasionally is required to stand.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to approxin1ately 25 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate
- Ability to continuously stand for up to a 10-hour shift
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, climb stairs, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work under strenuous and heated conditions
