Job Summary The Market Medical Director is a key member of the ArchWell Health leadership team. This physician will lead primary care providers (PCPs) in their neighborhood clinics, including some clinical practice alongside colleagues to stay close to patients. They will also have critical leadership responsibilities, including setting an example for high-quality primary care, serving as a mentor and coach to providers, and supporting organizational strategic initiatives. Candidate Responsibilities Provider Management: Be hands-on in clinics, supporting staff, ensuring proper staffing and call coverage, recruiting, developing, coaching physicians, and supporting performance reviews and ongoing training. Leadership and Coaching: Promote quality care by coaching physicians on managing patients in a value-based care environment, utilizing data-driven tools, and serving as a role model. Care Delivery and Center Operations: Lead market-level clinical meetings, support care teams, and promote best practices in patient access and experience. Support Organizational Strategy: Collaborate with corporate and regional leadership on initiatives like network development, documentation, quality improvement, utilization management, transitional care, compliance, and community outreach. Drive Culture: Embody and promote ArchWell's mission to transform primary care and improve seniors' lives, fostering a collaborative environment.

Ideal Candidates Will Be: MD or DO graduates Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine At least one year of experience in a primary care management role Experience supervising providers and staff successfully Experience in managed care or value-based care environments Collaborative and team-oriented with a patient-centric approach Committed to caring for the elderly and underserved populations Passionate and energized about organizational growth
