Requirements:

Active California license BLS/ACLS certification Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards. Administer medications as prescribed; by mouth, intravenously, intradermally, subcutaneously, or intramuscularly. Perform history and physicals. Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services for inmates. Take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Perform duties within scope of licensure. Additional duties as assigned by facility.
