Pharmacy Operations Director The Director of Pharmacy Operations is responsible for overseeing and owning the outcomes of all operational aspects of the pharmacy. This role ensures optimal performance of people, processes, and systems, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and upholding ACHC specialty accreditation. The Director aligns operations with the organization's mission to improve healthcare access and outcomes in the community, manages a team of 3 staff pharmacists and 7 pharmacy technicians, and reports to the Chief Pharmacy Officer. Additionally, the Director will serve as the 'face' of the pharmacy at local events. Responsibilities Oversee all operational aspects of the pharmacy to ensure optimal performance. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and uphold ACHC specialty accreditation. Align pharmacy operations with the organization's mission to improve healthcare access and outcomes. Manage a team of 3 staff pharmacists and 7 pharmacy technicians. Serve as the 'face' of the pharmacy at local events. Manage profit/loss tables, calculate EBITDA, and drive pharmacy performance improvement. Commit to meeting deadlines and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Essential Skills Pharmacist license in the state of Florida. BS/BA required, preferably in Business/Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics. 10 years of pharmacy experience including specialty pharmacy. 10 years of leadership and/or operations experience within a pharmacy setting. Strong business/entrepreneurial skills. Comfortable managing profit/loss tables and calculating EBITDA. Strong commitment to deadlines. ACHC accreditation. Additional Skills & Qualifications PharmD. Preferred experience with the pharmacy ACHC accreditation process. Preferred prior utilization of QS1 software. Strong cultural competency. Work Environment This role is based 100% onsite in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic pharmacy located in Oakland Park, FL. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays from 8am to 2pm. The environment is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to managing daily operations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Oakland Park, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $185000.00/yr. See AM for full benefits guide.
