Job specification

Provide leadership and oversight for the nursing staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that support best practices in long-term care. Manage day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling to maintain optimal staffing levels. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address resident care needs and enhance service delivery. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Administration is preferred. Minimum of 3+ years of management experience in long-term care or skilled nursing. Basic BLS CPR certification, up-to-date annually. Familiarity with the MDS process in long-term care facilities. Proven experience as a charge nurse or in a supervisory role within long-term care. Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including OBRA and CMS guidelines for long-term care facilities. Certification in Gerontological Nursing (RN-BC) or Nursing Home Administration (NHA) is preferred.
