Overview
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to serve as Medical Director for our hospitalist practice at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital in Hollister, CA.
Responsibilities
Coverage for high-risk deliveries, emergency room consults, pediatric admissions of low acuity, and well newborn care.
Newborns requiring NICU care are transported to our affiliated Level-III NICU at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose.
The hospital delivers about 500 babies annually.
The full-time schedule is twelve 24-hour shifts per month with call from home.

Qualifications BC Pediatrician with current in-patient hospital experience.

Base compensation is $190,000 - $230,000 plus director stipend
