SUMMARY

We're looking for a Part-Time Recreation Program Coordinator to help us deliver fun, safe, and engaging programs throughout the year-with the unique opportunity to transition into a full-time summer leadership role!
Schedule & Pay September - May/June (School Year): Part-Time Recreation Program Coordinator (up to 18 hours per week, some evenings and weekends) Pay: $26.50/hour (Recreation Leader/Program Coordinator) Summer (Up to 40 hours per week): Recreation Counselor - Assistant Director Pay: $20/hour This flexible, year-round opportunity is perfect for someone passionate about recreation, youth and adult programs, and community engagement.
What You'll Do Plan, implement, and oversee a variety of programs: youth camps, fitness classes, arts & crafts, leagues, and special events. Supervise staff, volunteers, and participants, helping to create safe and welcoming spaces for all. Coordinate facilities, equipment, and supplies for smooth program delivery. Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and vendors. Assist with outreach, marketing, and program evaluation. Step into a leadership role during the summer season, supporting staff and ensuring a high-quality camp experience. What We're Looking For Experience in recreation, youth services, sports, or a related field. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lead activities, supervise others, and adapt in dynamic environments. CPR/First Aid certified (or ability to obtain upon hire). Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends. Preferred but not required: A degree in Recreation, Education, or a related field, plus experience with recreation management systems
(MyRec, RecTech, Kaizen, etc.).
