We are seeking an exceptional Part-Time PM&R Physician to take on a pivotal role as an Associate Medical Director at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in St. Joseph, Missouri. This role is designed for individuals passionate about inpatient rehabilitation and leadership in a multidisciplinary team setting. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to influence patient care strategies and outcomes while maintaining a work-life balance with a three-day work week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other neuromusculoskeletal disorders. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and case managers to craft and execute personalized treatment plans. Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained across the facility by adhering to evidence-based practices and fulfilling regulatory requirements. Lead, inspire, and mentor facility staff, promoting a culture focused on excellence, innovation, and teamwork. Engage in administrative roles including, but not limited to, strategic planning, performance improvement initiatives, and oversight of patient outcomes. Minimum Position Qualifications: Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Active medical license in Missouri or eligibility for licensure. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in patient-centered care and adherence to evidence-based medical practices. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a leadership or medical directorship role, preferably within a rehabilitation setting. Proven track record of improving clinic operations and patient satisfaction. Advanced training or specialization in neuromusculoskeletal or similar complex rehabilitation cases. Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead teams and interact with patients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess clinical practices and implement improvements. Outstanding organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
