Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and tactical leadership over manufacturing, production planning, inventory, procurement, quality, and facilities. Ensure operational excellence through KPI development, root cause analysis, and implementation of lean manufacturing principles. Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to deliver high-quality products on-time and within budget. Drive operational readiness and scalability to support new contracts, customer demands, and regulatory changes. Manage direct reports and department leads; mentor and develop high-performing teams. Maintain compliance with ITAR, ISO, AS9100, and other relevant standards. Collaborate closely with senior leadership on operational strategy, budget planning, and long-term growth initiatives. Champion a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, preferably within the defense, aerospace, or complex manufacturing sectors. 5+ years people leadership experience Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality systems (ISO/AS9100, ITAR, DFARS). Demonstrated leadership experience in a regulated, fast-paced production environment. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Skilled in ERP systems, supply chain optimization, and manufacturing analytics. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance if required.
