About this role The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations during their shift. This includes cost control, inventory management, cash handling, and customer relations. Staffing: Manage staff levels to meet business demands Paperwork: Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner Cost Control: Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability Cash Handling: Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently Food Management: Maintain high standards of food quality and safety Scheduling: Work to a schedule to ensure efficient store operations Image and Adherence to Standards: Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to drive sales and loyalty Attendance and Punctuality: Ensure regular attendance and punctuality Transportation: Manage transportation to and from work Store Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized store environment Marketing: Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and growth Key Responsibilities: Operate all equipment Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler Prepare product Receive and process telephone orders Take inventory and complete associated paperwork Clean equipment and facility approximately daily Required Skills and Qualifications: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator) Must be able to make correct monetary change Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen Benefits of the Role: This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team and drive sales and growth.
