Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory is seeking a compassionate, professional, and community-minded Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to join our dedicated team in Dover, Ohio . As a family-owned funeral home, we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of care and service to the families we serve. Responsibilities:
Meet with families to arrange and direct funeral services with empathy and professionalism Embalm, dress, casket, and prepare decedents for services and viewings Coordinate and oversee visitations, funerals, memorials, and graveside services Handle necessary paperwork including death certificates, permits, and insurance claims Assist with after-hour transfers on a rotating basis (with additional compensation) Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization within the facility Represent the funeral home in a positive manner within the community
Qualifications:
Valid Ohio Funeral Director and Embalmer License (or the ability to obtain one) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A sincere passion for serving others and helping families through difficult times Ability to work rotating weekends and participate in an on-call schedule Professional appearance and demeanor Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Compensation & Benefits:
