Overview

A career in the Office of General Counsel provides dedicated legal support in litigation, counselling, and corporate, commercial, and employment law. This role supports regulatory proceedings, advises on operations, supports client contracting, and provides guidance on employee matters. As a Director, you set strategic direction, lead business development, oversee multiple projects, and maintain executive-level client relations. You will provide IP and legal guidance, manage technology transactions, and ensure compliance with technology contract lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide IP and legal guidance on technology transactions
• Manage technology contract lifecycle processes
• Maintain impactful client relations at the executive level
• Oversee multiple projects to achieve strategic objectives
• Set strategic direction for technology-related legal initiatives
• Foster a culture of compliance and innovation
• Ensure alignment with technology contract standards

What You Must Have

• Juris Doctorate
• 5 years of experience advising on technology transactions agreements, in either a law firm IP/technology transactions practice or a busy in-house environment
• Member in good standing of the State Bar where the position is located

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $122,500 - $504,500, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
