Opportunity Awaits, Apply Today! OEBB/PEBB Deputy Director As the OEBB/PEBB Deputy Director, you will lead day-to-day operations and serve as the executive lead on all IT projects. You’ll provide strategic and policy-level support to the Director, agency leadership, Governor’s Office, and Legislature, and serve as a key advisor on employee benefits. This role also supports data analysis and costing for collective bargaining and management proposals
This position falls under the HPPA1classification. The AA Rate Pay Range for this position is $9,370.00-$14,494.00 USD Monthly. The information in your application will be used to complete an Equal Pay Analysis to determine salary placement upon hire.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of related experience. OR Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience.

Proven experience in leading daily operations and IT functions for complex, multi-program benefit systems, including executive oversight of system replacement projects.
Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional teams and resources to ensure effective delivery of OEBB/PEBB programs and services.
Track record of developing and implementing internal controls, audit processes, and program integrity safeguards to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
Extensive experience in aligning program policies and proposals with board directives, legislative expectations, and compliance requirements.
Adept at preparing policy analysis, cost modeling, and legislative strategies to inform and support board leadership and innovation workgroups.
Highly skilled in evaluating benefit programs, contracts, and plan designs in partnership with consultants and making recommendations to governing boards.
Demonstrated ability in coordinating interagency data initiatives for program planning, utilization analysis, and wellness improvement strategies.
Successful track record of serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and acting as OEBB/PEBB Director in their absence, with full authority and accountability.
