Responsibilities: Oversee the food service program, ensuring high food quality and safety standards. Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of food supplies, personnel, and expenditures using HCSG software. Conduct team training and in-service sessions and perform food service roles as necessary. Effectively communicate directives from client managers and administrators to the team. Ensure a clean and safe food preparation environment by following safety protocols. Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality while completing tasks in a timely manner. Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with colleagues and clients. Complete additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Preferred Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality. Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred as per state and county law. Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment. Must also obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications within 60 days of starting. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills for communication across all levels. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required. Physical ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and perform routine tasks continuously. Basic computer skills for maintaining records and completing reports, including online reporting.
