Verovian Healthcare Recruitment Agency seeks a highly experienced and strategic Nursing Director to lead the Critical Care Services in Memphis, Tennessee .

In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the operations, clinical quality, and patient outcomes of the Critical Care units, including ICU, Step-Down, and other critical care services. You will work closely with the hospital leadership team to drive excellence in care, foster staff development, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff in the Critical Care units, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance patient outcomes, staff performance, and operational efficiency. Monitor and ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Oversee budgeting, staffing, and resource management for the Critical Care units. Lead initiatives for staff education, professional development, and retention. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and senior management to optimize patient care services. Analyze performance metrics, quality indicators, and patient feedback to drive continuous improvement. Candidate requirements Current RN license in Tennessee. Two (2) years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position. Two (2) years of Critical Care experience. Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or healthcare administration is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Expertise in critical care nursing, clinical standards, and regulatory compliance. ACLS certification is required; CCRN certification is preferred.
