Job Summary The Northeast Corporate Director of Human Resources serves as the strategic HR leader for a defined region of hotel properties. This role is responsible for overseeing multi-property HR operations, driving regional compliance, championing associate engagement, and developing a sustainable talent pipeline. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and serve as a trusted advisor to hotel leadership teams. Essential Functions and Duties Lead HR strategy, compliance, and support across multiple hotel properties within the Northeast region Partner with General Managers to develop long-term people strategies aligned to hotel goals Oversee full-cycle recruitment, hiring, and onboarding practices to ensure consistency and compliance Cultivate relationships with schools, workforce programs, and community partners to build a diverse talent pipeline Manage and audit HRIS data, employee files, and ensure I-9 and other employment documents meet regulatory requirements Support and resolve complex employee relations issues with a fair, consistent, and legally sound approach Design and execute associate engagement programs, culture-building efforts, and employee recognition initiatives Collaborate with Training Managers and Brand leads to ensure compliance with all training and brand standards Lead regional compliance efforts including wage and hour laws, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, and state-specific regulations Oversee benefits communication, open enrollment, and ongoing associate education efforts Participate in unemployment hearings, manage workers’ compensation cases, and serve as a liaison with third-party vendors Travel regularly to hotel sites to provide hands-on leadership, support, and development to HR and operations teams Required Experience, Education, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required 5+ years of HR leadership experience with responsibility across multiple properties or regions Must have the ability to travel as needed Bilingual is a plus Experience using Workday is a plus Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law, HR compliance, and hospitality operations Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders with professionalism and agility Experience in high-volume recruitment and retention initiatives PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred Hospitality experience preferred Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region Work Environment Frequent travel across the Northeast U.S. region Regular schedule with some evenings and weekends required, depending on business needs Primarily office-based with onsite work required at properties Must be able to stand, sit, and move about the property for extended periods Other Duties This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of duties or responsibilities.
