As a Business Sales Lead you will have expertise and an in-depth experience in the Experiential space. You will play an important role in our businesses growth by creating sales strategies tailored to the Meetings, Events and Exhibitions sector.
You will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, nurturing new relationships and supporting the continued expansion of our footprint in this dynamic market.
As a credible, senior level business growth specialist, you will lead on the development of the growth strategy in the US for our Experiential brand, Emota.
Emota is our award-winning global events agency that creates and delivers engaging, impactful experiences.
You will reporting to: Chief Growth Officer
We support hybrid work, however we are looking for candidates in and around the Philadelphia area.
What you'll do …
Market analysis and strategy:
Using the global plan as a start point, you will develop plans specific to the US market through conducting in-depth market research to identify trends and new opportunities within the experiential sector
You will develop and refine sale strategies and go-to-market plans to take advantage of insights and collaborate with relevant Emota and our internal Client Engagement team members to ensure they understand their role with supporting this plan
Sales Growth:
Increase revenue by identifying and targeting important accounts and clients
New logos: establish and nurture relationships with decision makers and important partners within the experiential space, ensuring a quality pool of qualified leads
Ensure there is daily/ weekly action against the growth canvass that delivers results in the form of lead generation, qualification and conversion to sales
Innovation, differentiation and presentation:
Raise our profile in the market with important clients and prospective clients through marketing and main events – working with our sales enablement and marketing teams to ensure we have relevant assets and content to showcase our services
Remain up to date with industry trends and latest technologies within the event space
Work as part of the central growth team and the experiential CoE to recommend and implement innovative strategies to differentiate our offering and remain ahead of competitors
What you'll need to have …
10 years plus experience in sales and business growth with a demonstrable record of success
Credible expertise within the experience design market, with an understanding across Meetings, Events and Exhibitions (Environments)
A creative mindset with the ability to inspire and develop positive working relationships both internally and externally
Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
A well-connected background/ established network within the Meetings, Events and Exhibitions (Environments)
Experience taking the lead on developing creds and presentations to resonate with target clients
Integrity in your approach to developing new business
