The Mid-Atlantic Regional Finance Director is responsible for managing all major donor fundraising operations within their assigned region. Each Regional Finance Director each works directly with the national finance team and their regional fundraising consultant to develop strategies to meet monthly fundraising goals. The role oversees the Mid-Atlantic, PAC, and Tribal fundraising programs. They are responsible for executing fundraising events, call time, and meetings within their region, as well as working with the DSCC Chair and other Democratic Senators on fundraising activities. The Regional Finance Directors manage the Deputy Finance Directors and the Finance Associate in their region. This Regional Finance Director directly reports to the Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director.

Responsibilities include:
Creating and implementing a finance plan for the region; Overseeing all fundraising events in the region, including managing and staffing events and/or delegating these activities within the regional staff; Managing the DSCC’s relationship with current donors in the region; Developing relationships with and securing donations from prospective major donors in the region; Prioritizing donor outreach within the region between DSCC staff, the Chair of the DSCC, and Democratic Senators; Managing the Regional Deputy Finance Directors and a Regional Finance Associate.
Candidates must have:
At least 2 cycles fundraising within the Mid-Atlantic, PAC and/or Tribal donor universes; At least 4 – 6 years of work experience; Significant experience fundraising in a fast-paced environment, preferably on a political campaign or at a committee; Experience staffing a principal; Experience managing all aspects of fundraising events, including working with hosts, making invitations, tracking commitments, and thanking donors; Experience using NGP as a fundraising database.
The ideal candidate will also have the majority of the following qualifications:
Existing donor relationships in a particular region; Experience managing staff in some capacity; Experience working directly with Senators and/or Members of Congress; General knowledge of the Democratic Senate Caucus and commitment to restoring the Democratic majority in the Senate; Exceptional attention to detail.
The salary for this position is $115,000 annually.
