Grade C Manager: $100,700 - $159,171
Responsibilities
Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for division employees, including new manager onboarding and ongoing workforce development efforts.
Collaborate with Workforce Development team to produce comprehensive training manuals and digital learning tools.
Manage the operations of a technical and field support unit that will support the Division of Stations and Environmental Operations.
Work closely with various vendors, support divisions and internal customers to determine appropriate inspection cycles, support asset inspection processes, and implement corrective and preventative maintenance protocols.
Assist in the design and utilization of applications to improve efficiency and report on operational performance.
Develop and implement effective strategies to improve asset availability.
Coordinate with the Division of Stations Work Force Development and Employee Engagement Team to ensure new chemicals are effective and utilized appropriately in Cleaning Staff operations.
Develop detailed requests and plans to replace aged and non-functioning assets.
Education and Experience
Five years (5) of full-time related experience, of which three (3) must have been in a managerial or supervisory capability, and a High School Diploma.
A satisfactory combination of education and experience.
Desired Skills
Ability to create, edit, and produce training videos and multimedia content that align with divisional goals and agency standards.
Knowledge of safety principles and experience working in an environment where safety is a key component.
Strong knowledge of Hexagon EAM
The ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels, including represented employees
Strong knowledge of the equipment used to clean and service the station environment
General understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance cycles of scrubber machines
Familiarity with SDS sheets and utilization of chemicals in the customer environment
Strong understanding of Stations and Environmental Operations
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
