As a Regional Medical Director (RMD), you will play a critical role in overseeing clinical strategy across multiple markets. This developmental role paves the way to become a Market Chief Medical Officer. The RMD will collaborate closely with the Regional Chief Medical Officer to enhance clinical leadership, define success metrics, and adapt care model components for various regional markets. Key Responsibilities: Oversee medical services across one to two markets, administering clinical model execution and performance outcomes. Provide direct patient care up to 40% of the time, managing a patient panel. Work with clinical leaders to customize care models, define success metrics, and identify clinical value opportunities. Design and execute clinical protocols, performance objectives, and compliance measures. Partner with Market Presidents and General Managers to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and improve workflows. Build interdisciplinary teams to enhance quality outcomes and the patient experience through coordinated care. Promote the use of technology designed to support the ChenMed care model. Represent ChenMed with external partners, fostering high-value relationships. Participate in the hiring and evaluation of clinical team members and mentor staff providers. Advocate for patient wellness by employing preventative strategies. Engage in leadership, financial, and strategic planning meetings. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Strong business acumen and knowledge of health center operations. Understanding of healthcare network strategies and value-based care. A genuine passion for integrated health care focused on underserved seniors. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to lead and motivate staff while promoting teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel up to 60%. Fluency in English is required; multilingual is preferred.
