THIS ROLE: NorthStar is currently seeking a talented and compassionate Medical Director as we expand our leadership team with a Medical Director of Anesthesia at Inova Fairfax Hospital. We are looking for a board-certified Pediatric/Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to lead, help grow and provide services in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology at Inova Children's Heart Center. The prospective candidate will join a collaborative team of 5 pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, 2 pediatric cardiac surgeons, 2 interventional cardiologists, and 2 pediatric electrophysiologists. The team on average performs 150 cardio-pulmonary bypass cases, 300 pediatric heart catheterizations, and 125 pediatric EP cases annually. THE FACILITY: Inova Fairfax Hospital - Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, our flagship, is synonymous with exceptional patient care and safety. CASES INCLUDE: Pediatric Cardiac surgical cases include the complete spectrum of pediatric heart disease for cardiac and non-cardiac based procedures except heart transplantation. Mixed practice (pediatric/adult) with a majority of pediatric cardiac and pediatric general cases.
