The Opportunity:
Promote and embody Vituity's purpose, mission, vision, values, and strategic goals within your practice.
Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and effectively communicate these standards to all providers.
Analyze healthcare trends and assess their potential impacts on practice and local needs.
Develop and execute a comprehensive annual management plan to exceed performance expectations in relation to patients, clients, and the community.
Lead the administrative team, ensuring diligent selection of members and alignment of responsibilities to meet practice goals.
Demonstrate thorough understanding of Vituity policies, maintaining compliance and adherence among all providers.
Foster open communication and transparent decision-making aligned with Vituity's Partnership Principles.
Scrutinize operational and quality metrics, implementing initiatives to enhance organizational performance.
Continuously improve operational processes and leverage technology to optimize workflows and efficiency.
Monitor financial performance and strategize to create new growth opportunities.
Enhance patient census and optimize billing practices for ideal reimbursement.
Build relationships with key payers, including IPAs, Medical Groups, and ACOs relevant to the health system.
Streamline recruitment, onboarding, and training to ensure high-quality staffing in your practice.
Provide mentorship and development opportunities to staff and physicians, refining their clinical and leadership capabilities.
Evaluate physician performance in alignment with organizational standards.
Participate in contract negotiations alongside the Regional Director.
Build collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, nursing staff, and the broader healthcare team.
Represent the practice's value through active leadership participation in hospital committees and community initiatives.
Required Experience and Competencies:
Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited school with completion of a residency program.
Active membership on hospital medical staff, complying with bylaws and policies.
Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with superior clinical abilities.
Proven interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Project management skills and the capability to collaborate with diverse team members across locations.
Strong relationship-building skills paired with technical proficiency.
Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
The Practice:
Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital is a 400-bed facility featuring a 14-bed Emergency Department.
Annual emergency department volume is around 22,000 visits.
Well-established Cleft and Craniofacial Team.
State-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 24/7 on-site neonatologists and pediatric specialists.
Pediatric services range across several specialties including cardiology, ENT, and more.
