Monitor current and future healthcare and economic trends; assess their potential impact on the practice and local geographic region. Strategize and execute a comprehensive annual practice management plan with clear goals to deliver value to patients, clients, providers, and the local community. Lead the local site's administrative management team, selecting members and aligning responsibilities to achieve practice goals. Demonstrate mastery of Vituity policies and fiduciary obligations, ensuring strict adherence by all providers. Foster open communication and transparent decision-making, including annual reviews of administrative stipends and scheduling preferences. Understand hospital expectations and uphold compliance with all contract terms. Monitor operational and quality metrics and implement Vituity initiatives to improve performance. Continuously assess and improve operational processes, leveraging technology and best practices to increase efficiency. Monitor site financial performance and identify opportunities for growth and revenue. Develop expertise in the yearly budget, financial performance measures, and billing/reimbursement issues and systems. Improve patient census and billing statistics to optimize reimbursement. Maintain awareness of payers such as significant IPAs, Medical Groups, Foundations, and ACOs associated with the hospital/health system. Execute efficient recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new providers to ensure highly qualified staffing. Provide learning and development opportunities and mentoring to providers and staff to enhance clinical, leadership, and professional growth. Evaluate physician and PA/NP performance in compliance with Vituity policies and guidelines. Monitor physician competencies with progressive improvement; counsel, suspend, or remove staff from the schedule as necessary in compliance with policies. Participate in contract negotiations in conjunction with the Regional Director. Foster productive relationships with hospital leadership, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members. Represent and demonstrate value through leadership roles and participation with hospital management, medical staff leadership, Medical Executive, Medical Staff, and community committees. Required Experience and Competencies Licensed physician (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school with residency completion in an accredited program. Maintain membership and privileges on the hospital's medical staff and comply with bylaws, policies and procedures. Physician Partnership status required. Five or more years of leadership experience required. Verbal and written communication skills; superior clinical, interpersonal, and leadership abilities. Ability to motivate a team; project management; collaboration across diverse individuals and locations; relationship building; technical skills. Strong accounting and finance understanding. The Practice Studer Family Children's Hospital - Pensacola, Florida 23 pediatric beds. Attached to a Level I Adult Trauma Center Annual volume of 33,000 with a 16% admit rate. All subspecialties available except CT surgery and burn.
