Care with Compassion. Midland Care is seeking a compassionate and visionary Medical Director to lead our Hospice & Palliative Care Division. This physician leader will guide our interdisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families navigating serious illness and end-of-life transitions. This role is responsible for the medical oversight of hospice and palliative services, ensuring exceptional clinical outcomes, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with our mission of whole-person care. The Medical Director will work across all Midland Care programs as needed and serve as a physician leader and subject matter expert in palliative medicine and hospice philosophy.
What Youll Do Provide and oversee compassionate care for hospice and palliative patients. Lead the clinical team in care planning, symptom management, and end-of-life decision-making. Validate hospice eligibility and ensure compliance with care standards. Serve as a liaison with referring providers and community partners. Guide and mentor mid-level providers and participate in on-call coverage. What Were Looking For MD or DO, licensed to practice medicine. Experience in hospice, palliative care, or serious illness management (2+ years). Strong collaboration skills and a deep belief in patient-centered care.
