This position plays vital role in planning and delivering comprehensive primary care services across our organization. This leadership position guides clinicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective healthcare throughout our health center network.Position OverviewThe successful candidate will foster cohesive, productive, and efficient collaboration among medical clinicians to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes and patient access.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor teams of physicians and clinicians across PCHCs primary care locations in ProvidenceDevelop and implement clinical strategies that align with PCHC's mission and goalsOversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomesCollaborate with Chief Medical Officer on organizational strategy and growthDrive clinical program development and redesign based on data analysisThis role includes providing direct clinical care at 0.2 FTE assisting with vacation coverage needs when possible; participating in on-call rotation and providing coverage as needed.QualificationsBoard Certified Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or similar primary care emphasis)Current MD/DO license in Rhode Island.Three years of progressive experience in a physician leadership roleFive years of clinical experienceDemonstrated experience in clinical leadership roles, coaching and developing physiciansExperience using metrics-driven approaches to analyze healthcare data and drive clinical strategyAbility to maintain hospital privileges in accordance with PCHC policiesCommitment to ongoing professional education and certification as requiredIdeal Candidate AttributesAbility to remain calm in stressful situations within a rapidly evolving healthcare landscapeMaintains a sense of humor, impeccable bedside manner, and professionalismStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for serving underserved communitiesCollaborative approach to leadershipStrategic thinker with operational excellenceBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement benefitsPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesSupportive and mission-driven work environmentLoan repayment program eligibilityLocationProvidence, Rhode IslandPCHC is EOE/M/F/D/V/SOPI1351b56af94f-29952-37885077
